Passions howling winds steal my innocence forcing tears of hate from my eyes imbued with spirit foul I crouch unseen in the shadows of a crowd gone wild Clutching my tender heart protecting from the venom flying sorrows tears fall Lies buzz around me like wasps of deceit stinging fiery jabs scarring poet’s soul Crying out for a voice whispering in the dark pleading with you why..why..why…. |

Poet deVine- Well said, my friend. And no voice heard quieter than mine ... why? why? why? ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Ms. deVine, you've definitely captured how I feel. Deeply sorrowful work. This one hit me very hard. *Krista Knutson* ~*Like a lion, without fear of the howling pack, Like a gust of wind, ne'er trapped in a snare, Like a lotus blossom, ne'er sprinkled by water, Let me, like a unicorn, in solitude roam.*~ Hymn Of Buddha |

some are poets because they have the ability to mechanically write well... others because they can express their inner souls... some are exceptional poets because they can show us their inner beings in such a beautiful style of writing... cant be an outstanding poet unless you can do both... |

Thank you all...I've felt a sadness lately about the tone here....I know that there will always be problems in life...that we will have to deal with the occasional houligan....that we can't please everyone.. that this world is not perfect...I also know that we draw our strength from each other.. Let these winds blow away any pain, frustration, anger, sorrow, jealousy or indifference....we are poets with passion in our soul...let it shine! |

Well, PdV - for me, the best thing about storms is seeing the sun come out once they've passed... ![]() |

A true poet seems to be allways searching for answers allways searching for knowledge allways ready to share their hearts and souls but some times the perfect answers come too late and by then do we still care enough to give them ![]() Rex }<{{{{o> |

When you're right, you're right. Strong poem, stronger message. Point well taken, deVine. Always admire your work. |

Ms deVine - sadness in here? Really? I've always thought of this place as a really neat, light-hearted place. Oh sure, the women in here are gonna write about sadness and crying and broken hearts and stuff like that; but, that's just par for the course with women, yanno. Now take it from me, if women would simply act like men, everybody would always be happy! *knowing nod* |

Poet, I too can relate to this. I have sat back and read all the replies on the poem "Evil One" and I don`t see how so many people can be so quick to wanna kill, hurt and say so much bad about one person. I stopped replying to all the neg. comments that were made to me. Yet I can see that alot of people in here have alot more anger inside them then I do. I didn`t mean to upset so many people. Anyway,Nice Job. PEACE ![]() MARGE:TO YOU AND SOME OTHER`S, IM SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A JERK. I DON`T EXPECT TO BE FORGIVEN BUT IT DOES MAKE ME FEEL BETTER KNOWING THAT I`VE APOLOGIZED. NOW TO WHOEVER,YOU CAN BLOCK THIS NAME LIKE YOU DID ALL THE OTHER`S,BECAUSE IM DONE HERE IN PASSION. [This message has been edited by Bird Man (edited 02-01-2000).] |

???? Loved your poem Devine, you're a great poet, though I'm a little confused right now, after this last reply. Hmm, serves me right not showing up in open daily. ; ) |

Most DeVine One: An interesting read with heavy overtones... and then I read some of the R.P.s... Hmmmmm.... I've been out sick for the past week and it seems in that time some serious drek went down in PIP. Can't say I'm sorry I missed it, but I'm feeling a little out of the loop... but then again, I've always been a little left of center. All the same, still a good read and still a great place to be. Peace m'lady. |

Sharon, a beautiful, giving heart like yours should never feel the pall of strife's sadness fall over it. Smile m'friend, for that makes all the "bad guys" go away! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Disclosing the tender palms of her hands gently she feels rough with the smooth a soul that walks through grains of sand open to the sunshine hoping it will soothe Memories give you the power to collect roses in the winter... |
