Rain Dark clouds, dark sea Rain pours from the sky Dark mind, let it be Kiss the sun goodbye Shadows lost, vision hard A dark silhouette of drips Good feelings, I discard Bad feelings I dismiss Water falls, water crash Never ending stare All is gone, light is crashed What is is hidden, never aware It stops, light pours Back to normal, rain gone by Leaves dry, seeds spore Another storm comes from the corner of my eye That strange feeling we had in the war. Have you found anything in your lives since to equal it in strength? A sort of splendid carelessness it was, holding us together. |

Reminds me of my own poems about rain. . .the one thing that I have learned is that the rain does end. . . and the sun warms. . . Excellent work my friend and welcome. . . --------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

In my book, you can't write a bad poem about the rain |
