Her heart is gentle, Gentle like rain But it's been hurt before so many times She doesn't want to be hurt again. Her heart is tender Tender like a song But it's been so long since that song was sung She sings not before the throng. Her heart has been shattered Shattered like glass Picking up the pieces hasn't been easy The shards cut deep, wounds from the past. But, there is one, an angel Who can make her heart whole An angel of love and angel of light One that can not only heal her heart. . . . . . but heal her soul ---------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
