With the passage of time
Comes the deepening of love
Like the darkening day
In the setting of the sun
Changing shades of colored sky
All fading to blackest night
Holding steady, all feelings the same
Constantly avoiding the light

But she, in my arms remains
As the blissful sleep enfolds me
I trust my soul to her
So in the morning I might see
And behold all that I am
With an opening of her waking eyes
After a night like this I wonder,
Will the sun ever rise?

JML- yes the sun will rise again. Love your poetry. you have a way with words.

You got to get up every morning with a smile on your face
and show the world all the love in your heart
Then people are gonna treat you better
You're gonna find, yes you will
That your beautiful as you feel.~~~ Carol King

Ah, but I think in this case the more pertinent question is -- would you want it to?

Tender and lovely -- a wonderful read.

Full fathom five thy father lies,
Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

Skyfyre, high praise indeed from you. Plus an interesting question, and i think the answer here would be NO.
