A windswept plain quietly unrolls, Stretching over placid miles. Thoughts rest upon grassy knolls, And the glossy rainbows smile. The sky is a pool of azure air, Trapping clouds in a net of lace. Pain melts from anguished stares, While serenity bathes this place. The gate to my garden of dreams, Lays beckoning within your soul. Love travels upon liquid moonbeams, Guiding me to the bliss I now know. The wildflowers begin to bloom, Within the chambers of my heart. Spring emerges from the mother's womb, As weightless hours restart. A touch of comfort brings the breeze, Tranquility coming from your love. The wildflowers paint a vibrant sea, Nourished by tender rains above. *Krista Knutson* ~*Like a lion, without fear of the howling pack, Like a gust of wind, ne'er trapped in a snare, Like a lotus blossom, ne'er sprinkled by water, Let me, like a unicorn, in solitude roam.*~ Hymn Of Buddha |

So it's Krista, I always wondered about the name responsible for such beautiful verse. The first stanza totally drew me into the poem, keep it up! [This message has been edited by Master (edited 01-26-2000).] |

Krista, I feel as if I've known you since you were a kid and now you're a mature, adult poetess. This is very good! |
