Again, there she was With a beauty dark, and brooding A certain singular somethingness Of confidence exuding Seeming as if one with the night Her pale arms reaching, protruding Deathless, her mask to wear Ever beckoning me along With no emotion emanating But a telepathic siren’s song Guiding me, leading the way Convincing me this could be wrong Once, not long ago I would have been able to resist But now her grip on me, I feel the pull How unceasingly does she insist As I follow her into that dark and lonely place, I know full well, I will not resist |

JML- Your writing just may be addictive. I am enjoying watching the subtle, gentle differences in your subject matter. Most enjoyable. If I haven't previously welcomed you to Passion's ... I certainly do so now. WELCOME ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
