My friends, I know that I have been gone for a while, I have met someone. . . my destiny. . . last week here in the US. . . we have been corresponding and talking for 7 months now. . . and last week, I couldn't take it any more and got on a plane at the last minute to go to be with her. . . I wrote this on the plane before it took me to her side. . .

Tomorrow I shall meet my destiny
The woman of my dreams made real
Tomorrow together we'll finally be
Then I'll be able to tell her how I feel.

We'll be shy at first, unsure of what to say.
Face to face we'll finally be.
But sometimes, the best of friends start that way,
We'll just have to wait and see.

So now, here I sit on the plane
Waiting to be carried into the stars.
Finally, an end to this pain.
For I will soon be where you are.

Just be glad I'm not your child! *evil grin*

Sven, was wondering where you've been
wow, so glad you've met your destiny, so happy for you. All the best to both of you.

This poem is so sweet
I hope your meeting went will
Perhaps destiny one day I will meet
Then I'll have the same story to tell

Good luck to you Sven. I wish you the best as you embark into a new adventure.

Oh, I am so EXCITED for you!

I am still waiting for that visit from Destiny -- when you get finished, you think I could have old Destiny's phone number?

Good luck my friend, and God bless ...

Of his bones are coral made,
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange...

I'm glad you met your destiny and it went so well Sven.  You deserve true happiness. (HUGS) of happiness and understanding

Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

Sven,

That takes guts!  I've known three couples so far that met in person after oodles of hours online and on the phone...Two of them are still together...

Hope it is all you dreamed, nice poem, too!
