You stir in me A thousand echoes Of a thousand kisses And a thousand tomorrows Emotions in long decay Ever by slow degrees Never have I felt this way You move me You unlock in me So much of desire So much pain In which we conspire Memories betray innocence Ever by slow degrees Unafraid of the consequence You move me You instill in me A taste for life renewing A taste from depths Of which is my undoing Feelings long kept secret Ever by slow degrees Whatever it is, you do it You move me |

Shuffling around in past posts, I stumbled across this one...quite the heart warming read I needed today. Nice to melt the interior ice too. Sherry "The finest qualities of our nature, like the bloom on fruits, can be preserved only by the most delicate handling. Yet, we do not treat ourselves nor another thus tenderly." ~Henry David Thoreau |

JML- This moved me very deeply. A magical formula at work. Slow, soft ... captured by degrees. Nice work. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
