her fingers
tired of composing
the too many paper teardrops
needed to cleanse the ache that
had sprung from far deeper
than she really cared to know
and she felt over exposed
and slightly chilled
at the abandoning
of so many
emotions,
so many
tears
and so she slipped back into her jacket
stuck her hands deep into the pockets
and as she walked away thought,
I should have known better
my hands always hurt
when they
get cold

this will be my last one, *she says with a sigh and soft smile* thanks all for your help and support

This would be powerful even without the teardrop shaped verse. *S* I hope those abandoned emotions left spaces to be filled joy so great all aches will be forgotten!

The teardrop cleanses as it falls
but still it leaves a stain
emotion behind the built up wall
free-falling
haphazardly
splashing
freeing you from pain

Such a wonderful piece, fc!

Prune ye my vines and fig trees,
With care my flowerets tend,

Your home is at the end."

What ya mean ya "bid adieu?"....Get your sweet ass back here young lady...Now, if you've got a hair appointment or something....sure, I know in your case that could take a very long time...but after that?....Yea, you better be back or I'll flood your email with nasty, naughty panting and breathing and nekkid pictures of LongJohn and all the other terrible things I can think of....do you hear me lady!!!??

FC-
This is truly a wonderful, artistically presented work of art.
The words are delicate morsels
to be savored and then to have it
served it in such a lovely ~crystal dish~
is the creme de la creme.

oh, FC....this is beautifully tragic...you are so talented, I hope you will be gracing our "pages" again real soon.
