Softly through the window rays of moonbeams touch my face Shadowed by the memories of another time another place ~ In the moonlight shadows dancing reminding me of love once glancing back at me through anothers eyes lit with promise and surprise ~ Love that made my heart dance freely now merely shadows dancing in the moonlight ~ In the moonlight shadows dancing touching shadows of another time with promises of love ~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Soft, lilting, and sweetly sad. Well done. --Kess Full fathom five thy father lies, Of his bones are coral made, Those are pearls that were his eyes; Nothing of him that doth fade But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange... --William Shakespeare, from The Tempest |

Denise- Lovely challenge to work from. That Hoot girl sure knows how to inspire us all. Thanks for liking. Skyfyre- Lilting is my favorite word. Thanks for applying it to this piece. It sure was such a fun piece to do. DarkAngel- I don't know about amazing ... but perhaps I'm AMAZED that we have such a beautiful place to share Martie- And the shadows just keep dancing just beyond our reach. Closer, closer they come Got to have one. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Mike- How eloquent thy praise. Lady *demurely* bows Thank you, sir. Rosemary- You know what your words mean to me. While I always 'colored outside the lines' I want my words to speak first and then the presentation to WOW you ! I am constantly inspired to jump with abandon at formatting after having seen the lovely work you and Dale present on your pages. Thank you, Rosemary for the sincerity of your comments. Elizabeth, my friend - Thanks, darling. It's just nice knowing you are out there reading. Love to you and to Tony. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Marge, I have read several of your writing`s and one thought keep`s coming to mind. You have had a bad experience with love? Im sorry if Im out of line with this comment. It`s just that I read your work and from that alone I can see that your a sweet, loving, kind hearted person and I just can`t imagine anyone ever breaking the heart of one that has so much to offer. If so,you just point him out and I`ll go smack`m for you. Very well written Marge I look forward to the next one The Devil Made Me Do It. |

You've written a wonderfully reflective, sentimental poem...took me back to the beginnings of a love, sweet and new. Thank you, Marge. claire |
