Rhapsody My breath, catching fast In the clasp of his arms Somehow continued to deliver, Through miraculous means, The air, sweet and steaming, Flowing into my chest, love's river. Now I, surely dreaming, Could make not a move Nor quiet my heart from its thunder As I turned to him, willing, My lips full and yielding, Soft sanctuary, inviting his plunder. Though as he drew near, so His aching came clearer, yet His eyes filled with mindful regard, For he knew that his soul Would at last make mine whole. My lover, my poet, my bard. |

These are beautiful words, and there's no doubt that whoever this poem was for feels pretty special too! Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

Meadowmuse, this is excellent. Any man would be proud to have this written about him. Very delicate and yet strong. I like it very much. |

Beautiful!!! ~*~ Hell is not a place of fire and a devil with a tail and horns. But a place of torment because the light of God is gone. To escape this, accept the blood of Jesus Christ! ~*~ |
