I stood at the window tonight Watched how tenderly you held him Each caress I felt as if my own Then I knew my propose if life Love An elusive dream, a wish Watching What I do best I see what you see in him Handsome, intelligent and kind I could be these things But not this time around Wanting What I'll never have Needing To be held through the night No one shall ever see The scars I carry around As I watch from the outside At the one thing I crave Touching A basic human need Caring Soft and warm feelings A heart grown cold from neglect A soul as old as the stars A healer of hearts and hurts A watcher who sees all A man alone for all time My Purpose. |

This is heartrending, and hauntingly sad. Well written; it's a real tear-jerker. Thank you for sharing. |

Keep looking, my friend. For everyone, there is a mate, and love waiting to be discovered! Achingly beautiful! Corinne |

Ouch... I'm sorry. Sometimes what we see, isn't always what is there. I hope you find what you want. |
