From a distance- I saw a flicker in the sky
Cellophane wings fluttering- against the pale moon lite
And I was captured-On one enchanted night
From a distance -I saw the light

From a distance- I heard the music of the night
In a symphony- it called to me-
making everything so right
In a distance -I saw the light

Suddenly the stars appeared to me
Dropped right down to be near to me
Flickering  and floating, tumbling down
The flash of their brilliance flowed to the ground
My heart skipped a beat without making a sound
From a distance- I saw the light

From a distance- the wind blew through my hair
In a  magical moment- it took me to the air
And we danced close together on the milky way
As we flew- closer to the sun
Yet the light of the moon was our paradise
In an instant- we became one
From a distance- I saw the light

Now I hold memories- like the treasures in the chest
They will stay with me-until our time is blessed
For one more ride on the caravan
One more spin across the night
For one more dance to the symphony
And as its meant to be- we're one
From a distance- I saw a flicker in the sky
From a distance- I held the night
