IMPAIRED CHOICE Born with many years of life, But tapped only a little, Get filled with nothing but strife. For one so young, Dreams of pleasure and delight, Are torn and left unsung. We struggle with the test, And hurtfully so many fail, Just like the rest. All the over powering voices, Make for some difficult choices. With any doubt, Soon you feel without pout. Thrown into the sky, Like a rainbow, shinning high. Suddenly the soul falls so solemn, Until you hit rock bottom. Unsaved as far as you can tell, You're spending now an eternity in hell, As you yearn to glide again, Trusting you'll be closer to Heaven, When lost in the illusion grasp of Satan. Joshua Maxwell |
