I wait. I see myself alone. I wait. Patiently I wait, For you to come. But you don't. I've decieved myself, again. As I wait. |

Short and sweet, just remember that your own self worth may cause you to wait no more, to go on alone, and be more stronger for it. Much love... Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

Oh how I can relate. Sometimes while we wait, we are missing other wonders as they pass us by. Hope that makes sense |

I can relate to the waiting. That's why, one day I decided I wouldn't wait anymore, and I spoke up first. |

Hi Tulip, this reminds me of the time when I was desperately trying to win my ex-wife back and she finally talked to me on the phone and I told her I would be standing in front of the Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knotts Berry Farm at 6:00 p.m. on A Saturday two weeks into the future to take her to dinner and talk to her. I arrived there on the appointed day at about 5:30 with a dozen roses and I waited and I waited and I waited and she never showed up. Some of the other women passing by loved the roses so finally I gave a nice woman the roses so they wouldn't be wasted. I felt alone on that day. James |

O.k. guys, I've passed with flying colors in not contacting him at all, even though it's been very hard not to. He called last night to find out how I'm doing and to say he misses me. What do I do now? |

patience is of virtue, For without the will for love the heart grows cold and dies. |

I can relate to the waiting bit, really hard to move on when you want something badly. The realistic answer is to be strong and make up your mind, although it is very hard to do so. Nice poem. |

jmlee, That must have been very difficult. I hope you found somebody else that appreciates you for who you are! dsnyder, I don't plan on waiting any longer. It's kind of interesting though, as soon as I stopped waiting, he appeared again! What does that mean? jd & hoot, I agree, it's sad. Hopefully, eventually there will be a happy ending! spiked, I don't plan on letting my heart grow cold. You can always open up again, and hopefully have somebody do the same back. Denbee, Making up my mind is the hardest part. Every time I decide to move on, he shows up in the picture. Either a phone call, a note, something to keep a glimmer of hope... owu, I guess I spend too much time thinking, and not actually doing! |

Not that it's supposed to make you feel any better, but i'm in the same boat. Sure wish things were black & white, instead of shades of greys and colors, it would be a much more painless decision. |

Waiting still. Is it free parking? Just curious. So much power in so few words. Great expression, Tulip. Sherry "Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads." ~Henry David Thoreau |

You seem so sweet! You said every time you stop waiting for him, he comes around. Then what? Just go to the point and ask him what's up. Or better yet, just move on and let him realize he let a good one get away. That way, the power is yours. -SEA |

Denbee, I'm sorry you're going through it, it's very difficult and painful. I don't know if it's the right thing or not, we'll see! Anne & Simply, thank you! Sea, I ask him what is up, and he tells me it's just a very busy and difficult time for him. He tells me I mean alot to him, and that he hopes we'll be together one day. He's told me before, we both need to take the time and re-discover ourselves. He's right, we've both been in long term relationships that have ended pretty recently. I think one day we will be together, but right now it's hard to know. We have shared alot with each other, from day one. It was a one of a kind attraction I've never experienced before. I feel as if we have always known each other. And yet, D., I'm trying not to be the fool...! |
