your love flows with the current
and I am washed away
the stream that in the past ran calm
grows brisker with the day.

I can not tread the water
your heart too strongly calls
and I know I can not help it
as I’m plunging down the falls

WoW Kevin, deep.  Short and to the point!  I love the imagery in this one!

You are one extrememly talented poet.  I fully expect to see your name in print one of these days.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one.  Beautiful, flowing, exquisite rhythm and rhyme, crystal clear imagery; your words catch me and sweep me along in the white water of your emotion.

I had lived three or four decades before the deep and painful emotions that had swept me along all my life,  began to finally appear in my words, clearly and keenly.  It took that long to find how to describe them like this!  It was like discovering how to read invisible ink messages, after waiting a lifetime.

Yes, I do believe you've been bitten Kevin. Absolutely lovely work.
