Sir Balladeer has such an academic way But our old Toerag he just throws those rules away Yes, I've learned much in Deer's Poetics One-oh-one And I've laughed many times at our Toe's rhymeless fun So tell me which way should I put pen to paper Do I follow good form or write a mad caper? Tell me which way lies the greater poetic good And how much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. |

Andrew Scott- You've learned from the masters of the quip. And, you've learned it well. Very funny, indeed ! Whatever you write I'll surely read. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

When words can brighten someone's day It matters not to me the way They rhyme, their meter, or their form... More the heart from which they're born! Use your own talent, use it well To say what no one else can tell. |

Sir Scott, this was a wonderful little ditty. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? A woodchuck would chuck a chuck of wood, if a woodchuck could chuck wood. |

Echo… here is your qupee-doll, now run along a play. Nan… Why thank you my dear… that is one of the finest complements I've ever received. Marilyn…. OK! But how much is a chuck? And does a woodchuck know how much that is? |

Dear Andrew do not curse your curse, 'Deer or Toe, it could be worse. You could write without a clue, Just the way we sailors do. It matters not your pen's ink, But only that you first think. For if you write without a plan, You'll be thought of as a Long John man. Oh sure, you say, that's not bad, But rest assured in what you have. Talent and skill are rare assets, I know. I haven't found them yet. So put pen to paper, mouse to screen, Let your thoughts flow fresh and clean. And as for our Toe and Balladeer, Let them worry over your thoughts here. |
