The house is cold
The snow still falls
Rushing down from the heavens above
There isn't a sound except for the flakes
That flutter rather silently down
The house is cold
My hands are cracked and dry
The cold is seeping in
Through the floorboards
Winter invites itself inside
To warm by the dwindling fire
The house is cold
Ice crystals form on the windows
Frozen ice glass
Pressed my hand against
No finger prints
The house is cold

My house is cold too!! Maybe we should check to see if the furnace is working...hehehe

Freezing almost! Better go check on that furnace. It has been acting up lately!

Beautiful Joy, I am enjoying the poems about winter oh so much, cause we dont get a winter here =( LoL Would you like to send some of that cold over here? PLEASE?

I want some Snow

We get alot in the mountains but down here
about all we get is rain.(Seattle area)
Bundle up so ya dont catch a cold.
