The gentle touch of your hand A smile on your face Warms this cold heart Dark thoughts it does erase The sound of your voice A memory held so dear Comforts this lonely life When you are not near There shall come a time When we're together once more Seeing the facial lines That weren't there before A lifetime of hugs and kisses Carefully stored away for you Held deep in this heart Of one whose love you knew Although we have been parted By a choice not our own Soon it will be over Sweetheart, I'm on my way home. |

WolfsMate- My goodness. This is lovely. An awesome statement of the reaffirmation of love. A wonderful statement, my friend. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
