True Sounds The true sound of love is of air to my ear a timbered voice of an age old soul whose gnarled hands once knew the silken threads of love now gone. Thanks, Dad The true sound of love were the fingers snapping to a tune she whistled quietly when she knew her children were tucked in safe, but kept still the solid vigil in her heart. Thanks, Mom The true sound of love is the heartbeat of my mate at my back, resonating through nightgown and skin and warmth holds forever my love within. Thanks, Dear The true sound of love is the laughter spontaneous and true over life’s follies and moments held in God’s hands that only children can find. Thanks, Kids The true sound of love sounds deep within my heart when I give thanks to You for all of the above. Thanks, God 17 January, 2000 ©KRJ Sunshine Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Such wisdom in these lines relating the really important things we have to be thankful for, and especially the ending where you're thanking God for allk the rest. Beautifully done. |

A wonderful expression of what Love is. In a world where most things can be bought, you remind us that the really important things cannot. Danny |

Sunshine- I am pleased to say that this is, in my opinion, the FINEST work I've seen you do. Not to detract from the other beautiful things you've written, but ... there's a soft-spoken truth that comes through in this. Why, this verse alone is worth more than I can ever say- 'The true sound of love is the heartbeat of my mate at my back, resonating through nightgown and skin and warmth holds forever my love within. Thanks, Dear' What a wonderfully, loving lady you are. Your heart sings through the entire piece. The loveliest of imagery it brings to mind.
