I Dream Of The Day by: Lynn Burdette I dream of the day when we unite, The love between us will shine so bright. Our souls will finally rest in their place. In the arms of each others warm embrace. I dream of the day when we visit the mountains, we'll sit and watch the beautiful fountains. The stars in the sky will twinkle above as we kiss by the moonlight releasing our love. I dream of the day we walk the beach, arm and arm as far as we can reach. The passion within us flies free as a dove. Our souls come together as we make-love. I dream of the day when we dance again, love in our eyes as we begin. The slow, sweet movement that we make. The smile on our face a we dance by the lake. I dream of the day our love will be free. Free to be released for everyone to see. These days will be soon, I promise you this. I will seal up my dreams with our starting kiss. Lynn Burdette |

Lovely poem. Very nice. ~Astraea "Sometimes stars can only be seen in darkness." "Sorrow's crown of sorrow is remembering happier things." |
