A little piece of greenery There is a portion of my day, Were I anchor in a way. Walk among the daffodils. Listen to the whippoorwills. Were tribute is a non exist, With roads and paths that do not twist. The sky is blue and air is clean. And only I am on the scene. Were everything is at its best, And nothing is put to test. Were music lays upon the breeze, Without cacophony or wheeze It's either peace I found at last, Or old age just making fast. But either or I do not care, At least there is a place out there. A little place of greenery, A little shade beneath a tree. |

Sy, There's nothing finer to extol Than finding peace within the soul A place to rid the daily stress And bring you inner happiness Sometimes that very special place Is sitting right before your face It isn't just what it might be But rather what you care to see At times the spirit is set free By a little piece of greenery So may you spend the rest your days Filled with peace in many ways More peaceful is my spirit now Than ever was, it's strange somehow That it would take this long to see A little piece of greenery Exquisite poem, and soothing, too Love ya, Liz |

This piece I read way up there Leaves me to be believe this place is somewhere I believe you know As you have written such picturesque show I could not paint this scenery better than your presentation You filled hearts with relaxation< !signature--> The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. Sy - this is a touch of beauty, this is. It glows like the scenery you describe...if only all the world was like this! (I'm wondering - I'm a bit confused by your 'were's' - are they meant to be 'where's? I can read them as both - if you have done something clever with the grammar - which I like! )K |
