Our thoughts were connected Somewhere out in space. I feel like I know you, Though I've never seen your face. It makes me feel better And brightens my day, To know you're on-line And not far away. I've waited so long And I've found you at last. To have you here with me, What more could I ask? It matters not that I can't see you. For a real friend, in you, I have found. You laugh and you listen And bring me up when I'm down. You tell me your secrets, And I share with you mine. You're so easy to talk to. You're one of a kind. |

Beautiful Eloise. Isn't it the truth too! I have met a few people who I "connected" with on the internet and know are real friends now. You sound like just such a person. Thank you. Well written. Bev |

Eloise, This is the best expression I've ever read of the very real friendship feelings for a 'virtual' friend on the internet. Did I guess right? Willem |

Marge, a friend indeed. Thank you. Bev, I am honored. I, too, have met several friends on-line and it is always great to get home and have that email from that special friend waiting for you. Thank you. Willem, you are absolutely right. Thank you for your kind words. |

Hi Eloise, I sure connected with this marvelous poem. Thanks for posting it. I met my girlfriend online over a year ago. Who would have thought? Rus |
