       A good meal
I know you had a hard day so just relax
I know you are hungry but you can't eat snacks
Come in my kitchen and have a seat
I'll set the table and we'll begin to eat
I prepared a dinner just for you
I hope you like the things I do
I cooked your favorite macaroni and cheese
along with hamhocks that are tasty with greens
It took me a while to make
but the peach cobbler is left in the oven to bake
The turkey is very tender
I mixed the vegatables in the blender
Thought you might like my well cooked dinner
This will be a day you'll remember

Great poem, if this was written for someone they should feel darn lucky!!  The food, like the poem, sounds good!!

Great poem, only thing is now I'm hungrey.
When do we eat?

It's fantasy. But if it contains a piece of me doesn't that make it as real as I am?

Oh, this one got to me...a meal and not one I cook myself...please, please tell me you're cooking it for me?..*g*

I love cheese and macaroni...not sure about the hemlocks though..ooops did you say hamhocks?...what are they?    )

Seriously, I just wanted to acknowledge the thoughts, little things mean a lot - to most of us...

Don't ask me where I'm going, just listen when I'm gone and far away you'll hear me singing softly to the dawn.
