I've discontinued my pipmail again, due to more weirdness from yahoo.

Please know and take note that my e mail correspondences are generally weird, but I noticed today with much alarm that my new account is also randomly changing subject lines.

So, please be wary of any e mails that appear to be from "me"--I haven't touched the soliwitch account for about eight weeks now, and the new yahoo account is acting up as well.

Seriously.

Sometimes the subject line is as innocuous as "good afternoon" and other times it is totally bizarre (even for me) like um, "Charleston Chewy's Chewy Louie. But not that chewy." <--I thought that was rather clever as it is random enough for people to think it's me.

I like to keep in touch, but for the time being, please know that if I'm not answering your mail, I'm either not getting it--and if I'm answering your mail with spam, I'm not sending it.

Karen, don't use Yahoo period for mail, try another one. Doesn't your server supply several email addresses for you? If not, try another email such as gmail, and I am sure others have some suggestions that work way better.

Yahoo gave me so much junk that I finally quit, and also hotmail.

K, that last email sure sounds like something you would say too, I'd have opened the sucka.

It's just too weird...

I went digging through Yahoo Questions and answers, and found someone else had posted a "Charleston chewy" question/and complaint.

The answer had been removed.

So ya'll know me. I asked why it had been removed.

Someone said it was "reported" and removed.

?

Ah, well. So far that account is fine, but weird. I have no idea why Yahoo would want to shoot themselves in the foot by annoying the people who sign up for it, but then, these ARE interesting times.

Good grief.

With all the trouble I had with the other accounts, I was ready to go blazin' with both barrels!

Thank you, Grinch, since I've been seriously worried. My last computer just died, my daughter's is in ICU, so I've been a tad bit jumpy.

Yahoo still won't allow me into soliwitch, though. My tech support (my son) said to leave well enough alone, though, since that "worm" thingie corrupted my comp via e mail. The trojans, (sez he) were probably a result of downloads--and I say no way, because I didn't do any downloads on my old comp. I don't think he believes me though, 'cause he said if there's anything I want, he'll get it for me and I'm not to do ANYTHING on my laptop without his consultation.

I think he loves my laptop more...*pout*

Thanks again, Grinch. No thanks to Yahoo though. If I'm gonna get painted "crazy" I think I'm fully capable of choosing my own colors!

(But that DID sound like me...)
