Lawsy... lawsy, lawsy...? No. HELLZ to da NO. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. I promise you there were prayers, on their knees in front of tv screens, and tears for all the rabid fans that passed, when it was final, finally, ours. I'm exhausted, and I didn't even prepare a party. (too superstitious) and I didn't even clean up after the one I was invited to--too not in the mood.) It's been the second-best Sunday of our lives. *smile* We're still waiting for the best, most superstitiously.  |

K... some of those tears were being shed in Houston... I don't know how many times I heard my Dad say "I hope I live to see the day..." He didn't... but I think he must be lighting heaven with his grin today. *S* I called my brother-in-law yesterday morning to tell him I'd dreamed the Saints and Colts were playing in the super bowl and Archie was torn between cheering for his team and his son. When that ball split the uprights last night, my phone rang... It was my bro-in-law promising to buy a box of pepcid for Archie! LOL |
