The demonstration version of Patterns 'N Poetry has been discontinued. We would like to thank all people who gave us input in the development of the software. The new Patterns 'N Poetry:Standard Edition is now available for download.

Patterns 'N Poetry is the only software available, written to assist poets, poetry students and poetry teachers in writing poetry. Get the FREE fully functional 60 Day trial of the Standard Edition. Patterns 'N Poetry Standard Edition

Included with the software are fourteen poetry patterns. There are four English Sonnet forms: Elizabethan Sonnet (Shakespeare), Spenserian Sonnet (Edmund Spenser), Clare Sonnet (John Clare) and Wordsworth Sonnet (Henry Wordsworth).

The Persian poetry form Rubaiyat with four stanzas is included in three variations: the Traditional Rubaiyat, the Interlocking Rubaiyat and the Refrain Rubaiyat.  Terza Rima pattern of five stanzas, the  Villanelle form and its Spanish forerunner, the Villancico poetry pattern are also included.  The Rondeau, the Roundel, the Rondine Traditional, three stanzas  and Rondine Modern, two stanza complete the initial pattern forms.  All of these patterns can be used with the Trial Edition of Patterns ‘N Poetry.

We will be adding additional patterns over the next few months and will be included in updates of the program.

We will trade website links with any other website dedicated to poetry
