I don't know many details, but the child of a domestic went missing between 4.30pm and 5pm this afternoon.  I don't know what time the police were alerted, but the police only phoned my son, Chris, who is the Sector Policing Forum chairman in the area at 10pm (it is now 10 minutes past midnight here).  He liaised with me and I sent out the alert on eBlockwatch.  He and the police and others are involved in the search.  The dog unit has just arrived and is about to start searching.

Please pray that the child is found alive and unharmed.

I am joining with you in a deeply trusting prayer that the little one will be found quickly and saved from any harm.
Calling for the special Guardian Angel of this precious child to guide the police.
Thank you dear Diana for allowing us to form this prayer circle.

Love and blessings.

The dog unit hasn't been able to find her and it looks as though they are going to leave.

A photo has been sent to eBlockwatch and will be sent around the country, but only in the morning tomorrow.  It is 1.10am here now.

Chris isn't sure what the next step is for tonight yet.

Thank you Ida and Martie.

The dog unit and Chris are going to try some other places now.

It's 1.45am and cold for Durban.  I am very afraid for the little girl.  I am hoping against hope that she wandered off and that she is sleeping in a good person's home until morning.  However, I don't think the chances of that are too good.

Thank you Marge, Karen and Kacy!

She has been found and is safe!  That is all I know for now.  My son has just phoned me (4.30am).  I will get the details tomorrow - well, today, but in daylight and after my son has surfaced from sleeping late!  This is par for the course for him (on many Friday and Saturday nights and sometimes other nights too), except that his (voluntary) patrols - or responses to a cry for help - have never been in conjunction with a missing person before - let alone a six-year old!

Thank you all you wonderful people - and those who I emailed but haven't read my email yet.  I know you would be praying for her if you had seen the email and that counts too!

Oh, and thank you God, as well.  Sorry to have mentioned you last, my friend!
