Sue contacted me this morning and wanted me to let the pip family know she is in the area of Oklahoma that has no electricity from the ice storms a few days ago and doesn't know when it will be restored. She doesn't want her friends to worry if they don't hear from or see her on here. She does have heat and is thankful for that. M |

Thanks Maureen~ I had an email from Sue yesterday and she told me of the awful ice storms hitting Oklahoma City ... then last night I saw photos of the ice storm on Fox News Channel~ Holding our SuzieQ in vigil of prayer, and all of those being affected by this terribly cold weather~ *Huglets* Suzie~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Thanks. Early this AM, we had ice and sleet in Northeast PA, but now are getting a fast heavy snowfall. Roads are slick with black ice that will now be covered with half inch an hour or more with snow. I love the snow...but not the treacherous layer of ice on sidewalks and streets. Sheesh, sometimes this part of the globe has scarier conditions than the Interior of Alaska. |

Thanks Maureen. Here in S. Central Pa we are having mostly icing so far today and I declined to try to go into work today because Of the treacherous conditions. So far, its been all ice. |

Well I am in South Central PA, 5 minutes from the Maryland line (and Susan just an hour or so from Donna) and all our trees are iced but the roads were warm enough so schools weren't cancelled in this area. My car was covered in a layer of ice this morning and we are expecting the worst to happen by Saturday into Sunday. Today's snow storm missed us by just an hours drive above us and to the east. |

And I am an hour and a half north of Maureen. Lots of ice here too but thankfully we didn't have any disruption of power. My good thoughts go out to SmartChick. |

Well, I am relieved to know that Sue, herself, is okay. I was concerned when she did not return my emails. I was hoping that it was only due to a possible power outage. Mind you, that in its own right, is the pits! Thanks for letting us know! Here's a hug for each of you! Linda |

I'm back! Reading all of your replies brought tears to my eyes. Just knowing that you cared. Ten days with no electricity was just way too long. I was beginning to get depressed. And, I dreaded coming home each night after work, knowing I had no electricity. Thank you all for your kind replies. I am so glad to be back. |
