Dear Passions in Poetry Friends~ I am so proud today..proud and excited, to have been given the honor not only of walking in friendship, beside our own Marge Tindal while she devoted much time, love, and talent into articulately compiling many of her beloved Native American Indian poems into book format... But, Marge has so graciously bestowed upon me, the privilege of joyously announcing to fellow Passions members the birth of her first publication ~ "Out of the Whispering Winds"  ~Front cover art "Folding Words" by Sandra de Nijs~ . Those who have followed Marge's Native American writings, many of which are posted here at Passions, know they are filled with the history of the Cherokee and their trials on the Trail of Tears. You also know they are told with warmth and love by Marge, through the spirit of SkyeLara. Please join me in wishing Marge all the best with her most recent and beautiful artistic endeavor. . Congratulations and good luck dear friend and Passions member! *~Marge will be in here later to give you the details on future purchases. I know many of you will want to have a copy on your own bookshelf.~* . |

Nance~ Thank you from the heart of my little bottom for holding my hand through these last few months ... there were times that I wasn't sure about anything ... but you were always there for me to 'bounce' it off of~ I don't know what else to say .. but you know my heart on this anyhow ... so take an extra *Huglet* or two~  Friends ... the dream came true ... it really did~ You can find one place to order the book online here - http://www.publishamerica.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?catalogid=18041 and another here - http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbninquiry.asp?r=1&ean=9781424163908&itm=1&z=y There will be many others as time marches on and I will come back in and advise you of those places also~ Please know that for the initial orders it 'may' take up to three or four weeks for you to receive your book (as the books are right now at the printing press getting readied for distribution world-wide)~ I am published by  and in a couple of weeks will be in book stores everywhere.They've done a marvelous job on the Press Releases and I'm busy booking engagements for intereviews, book signings and reading engagements~ I'm not going to be handling the sales of my own books at this time, as I am devoting so much time to scheduling events to promote the sales and there's only so little me to go around~ I am truly blessed with wonderful friends, who have held my hand during my life ... may each of you know that I humbly offer my words for the world to read and for my family to hold onto foreverly~ Thank you all ... thank you all ...~ Ron, you innoculated me with print fever when Voices On the Web came to be~ I hope to be an honorable voice of poetry for the all of time~ It is a positively WONDERFUL day to be a poetess~  *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Friends ... I wanted to take a moment to tell you all how the beautiful cover for this book came to be - The cover was 'fated' ... I had found an artist's name on a newsletter I get from Artist Registry ... followed the link .. found the 'Folding Words' painting ... wrote a little poem it inspired and sent it to Sandra de Nijs asking permission to use it at PiP~ She thought that would be just fine~ When the book came about ... I wrote and asked if I could possibly use the painting. She said yes ... and when I found out that she lives in the Orlando area, I asked her to join my chapter of The Florida Committee of The Museum of Women in the Arts ... turns out she already was a member ... but hadn't found the time to attend our monthly luncheons in quite awhile, which are held here in DeLand ... Marge...First congrats dear lady you earned this thru hard work and determination. You speak of other people holding your hand and guiding you thru this wonderful journey but you dear lady have held a many of our hands and guided us into this world of poetry and I for one want to thank you for all you have done for me. Hi Friends~ Just a quick little update on a thing or two about the book~ I've been a little under the weather with a bout of pneumonia ... so my interviews and book signings had to be put off until I've recovered completely~ I'm slowly on the mend ... so busy rescheduling those events~ With April being National Poetry Month, I've got oodles of events to cover~ I feel so blessed~ The warm response to my book has been overwhelming ... and I'm just so proud to be a poet ...~ Thank you all sooooooooooooooo much for the support~ Bless each and every one of you~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Tina~ Thank you hon~ Ivor~ Please let me know when it arrives and thank you sooooo much~ I have a wonderful book signing event scheduled for May 19, at the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Bookstore~ There will be four or five of us authors in attendance ... we will each be given an opportunity to do a presentation (I'll read a couple of my poems) then meet with those who wish to purchase the books~ As a teenager, I lived close to the Cassadaga Spiritual Camp, so it will be a sort of 'going home' for me~ On the same day they are having a Gala Day event with vendors offering arts and crafts, so my Bill and my friend, Michele, will be setting up a booth to showcase their beautiful art pieces ... Bill will feature his gorgeous wood carvings and Michele will be showing her unique fused glass art work and jewelry~ After the book signing event, I will join them for more book sales~ It sure is a great time to be a published poet~ Thank you ALL for your love and support in this long-awaited dream come true~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
