On September 28 I'm getting a new left hip. I'm going into hospital (AZ St. Jan's hospital in Brugge, Belgium) on Sept. 27. On the 28th they start to operate at 7.15am local time. They're going to use a new method, called ASR resurfacing prothese. http://www.activejoints.com/resurfacing.html I will be in hospital for about 5/6 days and then about 6 weeks revalidation at home, meaning: physiotherapy every day and excercising on the home trainer. So....No chasing sheep for a while  Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Titia~ I always knew you were HIP ! I hold you in thought~  Lottsa luck gal ... Thanks Sunshine, I started to read your book and will sure finish it during my resting hours. Marge, I haven't forgotten and wish dearly I could and who knows will again some day. I'm still homesick for those wonderful days in USA, meeting all my lovely poet friends. It's been 4 years now, but it seemed yesterday. I often think about the wonderfull time we spend together. And without internet and Ron's pages blue, I wouldn't even have known you existed my dear friend. Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Hey, dutchie!! I saw you dance with the OLD hips...can't begin to imagine how well you will do with the new one!  Take care of yourself and do what the doctors tell you and make sure you you follow up with that physical reconditioning so that you will finally get over all this. One day we will be saying.... HIP! HIP! HOORAY!!!!!  |

Hey Mack, those memories last a life time, just as the one when you hip hopped the bed springs and fell through, remember??? Rae, I'm a lucky gal to get this new method.
