I have 4 lovely grand kids..Ian, 5; Hannah 2 and twins Samuel and Joshua 14 months..I adore them all!!! There is nothing better than seeing one of the run up to you so you'll pick them up. It's better than having your own kids I think because your relationship with them can be pure...and it is pure bliss for me. They are one of the reasons I'm not around here much anymore.

They are such a joy, God's gifts, such blessings..nothing can compare
to the love they give so unconditionally.

Don't get me going here..LOL...
I love your grandie girlies almost as much as my own wee ones.

Trouble is they don't stay wee for long.
But, how marvelous it is to watch them as they grow and mature!

Happy Grandparent's Day to all those fortunate enough to be grandparents here at Pip.

I know ... and you KNOW how much we adore your precious little Jessica too~

The grandie girlies had us over for a cookout and swim ... what joy from the time they answered the door with bouquets of flowers for each set (THREE GENERATIONS) of grandparents ... right down to the romp in the pool, the DELICIOUS food ... the friendship and love, love, love that abounded~

We are sooooo blessed~

Happy Grandparents Day!
I wasn't aware of this until I read your post now, dear Marge... and the day is over.
But today my daughter called me from Belgium, saying that little Simon wanted absolutely to call "Nonna" on the phone ... it's always a gift to hear his sweet voice!

Well, he obviously KNEW!
