I have my bags packed and I will be leaving for Kansas City MO in the morning. I don't know when I'll have internet access because I don't exactly have a home yet but it shouldn't be long.

Keep me in your prayers please. Starting a new life sure is not an easy thing but I really feel like this is what I should do and this is where God is leading me to. I will be reunited with my daughter once again. We have so much time to make up for.

I will miss all of you and I'll come back as soon as I can.

Dixie, I am sending you all the wishes I can that you get to experience the loving bond that only a mother and daughter can have. It is absolutely never too late to love someone. I wish you well, and hope you both will share a new journey taking you to a peaceful, and heart-warming place. Take care. (We will all miss you in the archives.)

Dixie, add my wishes to the list. Have a safe journey, and once you settle in, share your joy with us, please. I just got back from a wonderful visit with my daughter, and am happy she is only a 3.5 hour drive away.

You're gonna like it there....if I had to live in the midwest again, Kansas City would be my hands-down choice.

thank you all for your well wishes, prayers, and encouragement. I'm scared to death. Hopefully I will be back online soon, at least to let you know how it's going.

I'm about to turn the computer off and take the ethernet card out and hit the road now.

just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone

I am at the library and don't have much time here online, plus my daughter is getting off work soon and I need to go pick her up.

I'm doing okay...have a temporary place to live for now, still trying to find a job...getting lost in both KS and MO...but hey, it's good to be here with my daughter and I know things will work out. This is a great change from the rut I was in.

Haven't even had time to think about poetry but I'm sure once things get settled, I'll be writing away

Hi, Dixie! I can imagine that you are feeling a bit discombobulated! Enjoy exploring your new environs ~ and your new life! Exciting times! ~ and a bit intimidating at times, to be sure!

howdy all

just popping in to say things are going okay...still praying for a job, and I know something will come through soon.

I don't have but an hour on here in the library, so you know I can't wait to hook my computer back up and get online in my house

I hope to be back on here more on a regular basis soon. New job, new city, new people around...not enough time for me but that's gonna change

miss reading the fine poetry here, miss writing and sharing but things are coming along nicely and in no time, I'll be back for good instead of just speeding by now and then LOL
