 I beleive that you all know Enchantress's precious little granddaughter Jessica, from her sweet pics and Nancy's wonderful words. Well, Jessica was admitted to hospital yesterday with an awful intestinal flu and needs our prayers. She is such a joy and deserves to be healthy and happy once again. It has been a very trying week for all of Jessica's family members as well. Her Mommy, Christine lost her father - Jessica's Papa Robert, suddenly to a heart attack. Naturally, all are in mourning for his loss. My sister Enchantress and I know the miracles that Pip's prayer circle can bring. Let us take a second out of our busy day to offer up some heartfelt words of prayer. May baby Jessica come home quickly to the loving arms of her family, and also, may their sense of loss be eased abit by God's everlasting devotion. Miracles, indeed. Dear Miss Jessica... You have the love and devotion of family, friends, and several hundred poets from around the globe. All of us are praying that you experience a speedy recovery. Dear Lord, Please look over this small, delightful child. Sooth and keep her in Your palm, nourish her with Your love, and allow this illness to dissipate quickly, in order that she return to the loving arms of her parents. Chris, my dear sister, I thank you for bringing together this circle of prayer. I just got in from seeing Jessica in the pediatric wing of the hosptial where she is in isolation and anyone entering the room must be gowned and masked. They/the doctors, still do not know what type of intestinal infection she has, but I know they are giving her the best treatment. She just looks so very tiny and fragile lying there with the IV dripping much needed fluids back into her. Thank you for your prayers, it has been a terribly sad week for the family. I know our prayers, and faith in God, and the doctors will mend our little princess, and send her home quickly.. Maybe, just maybe, in time for Mother's Day. You bet I am adding my prayers for our tiny little angel. It is the most difficult thing to see your grandchild in this state, so a big hug to you too Nancy Lee, as I have also been there. May they find that darn bug soon and get her out into the sunshine. |

Enchantress, I am praying very hard for the complete recovery of little Jessica so that she can return home to the loving arms of her family. Babies can get sick so quickly but they can get better miraculously quickly too and she is obviously in the best place for her recovery and is being looked after extremely well. I am so terribly sorry to hear of your family's recent loss. I pray that you will all find strength, courage, wisdom, solace and tranquility to help you all bear such a terrible tragedy. Just a quick update. Jessica is still very ill today. The doctors are trying to isolate the bug that is causing the gastrointestinal problem. Please keep those prayers coming.. we all want baby Jessica home soon. Thank you all, Grandma Nancy. |

I can't tell you how heavy our hearts are here for all of you there. There is nothing that can leave you more helpless than not being able to help a child, and especially your own. The girls loved your note and the latest picture of Jessica. Tori thought she had sure grown and changed, and loved her earrings too. They called me before bed tonight to see if there was any word, and were going to say their prayers for her. We will sit in this waiting room with you, and hope the the love shared gets this wee girl well and back home soon. |

I have been away from pip for awhile and was very disturbed to hear that our (yes, I feel that she is part of our pip family) baby Jessica is having a health crisis. A quick update from me, Jessica's grandma. They are going to remove the IV today and see how her stomach reacts this time to taking nourishment by mouth. This could be a good sign no? I'm hoping and praying it is. |

 . Just got a call from the hospital, Jessica is being discharged, (again) this morning..she had a good night, and kept her 6 a.m. breakfast down and is wanting to get going and play! I'm trying so hard not to be overly optimistic right now, as this happened once before...but, I am beaming! Thank you all once again for your support and prayers. Let's give thanks and now pray that darn 'bug' is out of her system, once and for all! |

Still praying hard that Jessica Lynn is well on her way to recovery! When I was a newborn baby, I had to stay in hospital about 3 weeks after they discharged my mother for something similar - and that was 60½ years ago! If they could save me so long ago, I am sure that your caring doctors and modern medical science can do even better for Jessica Lynn now! Lots of love - Owl |
