Listening to every heart

Bridget Shenachie...
our Irish lass and storyteller...
has a very special day today...

So everyone,
bring a poem, a limerick,
or story...

and leave it here...
she enjoys the gift of words.

Happy Birthday, my lovely friend...
It is indeed a very Special Day!

With every candle on your cake
And every birthday wish you make..
An angel flies on rainbow wings
To bring you love and joyful things!

Happy Birthday Bridget!

There was a sweet poet named Bridget
Whose beauty could make a man fidget.
Her phrases defiant
Makes her like a giant
And me like a small Irish midget!

Happy birthday, lassie!

I made a special Birthday cake, it's called "Bridget's delight,"
It's filled with smiles and happiness, and stars as guiding light;
Some inspiration for the poet, strength to keep you strong;
Perception into truth to help distinguish right from wrong.

I've also put in hope and dreams to keep the soul alive,
A little spoon of grief to keep the balance in your life.
The icing's made of poetry that conquers space and time,
Then sprinkled it with fun and decorated it with rhyme.

Happy Birthday Louise!

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and a special thanks for the poems you wrote just for me.  Now that's an impressive birthday gift. Think that I'll print them off and brag about it!

God bless you, everyone.

May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.

littlewing--I always smile when I see that Irish blessing.  Thanks for posting it.

SmartChick--I did have a nice birthday, made even nicer by your remembrance. Thank you, dear lady.
