Hello to everyone. My name is silverwind and I hope to be around for a while.
Having read through much of the poetry here I'm just a little bit concerned that my efforts will not come up to scratch, but, as the ancient Egyptians once commented, " Put it in writing, they're bound to understand it eventually. "

That's just what I'll do.

Well let me be the first to jump on the welcoming band wagon. So Silverwind welcome. By the way no matter how bad you may think you poetry is; people here will always be there for you. We are like a giant family.

welcome to PIP silverwind, and please know that everyone's efforts around here are more than just scratch...it's what we put in words that counts, not how it gets there or is presented. And Pip? Is one huge, understanding group of folks, in more ways than one.

Hi, welcome and don't worry about your poetry. I'm Dutch, I make a lot of grammar mistakes, even invent some new English words sometimes and they still like me

Silverwind, welcome to PIP! I felt the same way when I started here a couple of years ago. You are in for wonderful surprises, new friends, learning, and just a great bunch of people. I will look forward to reading your work.
