I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the acceptance e-mail this morning. I had actually not expected it this soon, however whent I opened the Yahoo, there is was. They also sent me a sample contract, with the final contract to follow in the mail upon my acceptance.

I would like to very sincerely thank everyone here on the Blue Pages for their support, and suggestions on how to improve over the past few years. I would also like to thank all of those whose poetry I have read and filched... uh... been inspired by... and that would be about 90% of you.

Now, I have to find an agent to look over the contract, and start gearing up for the real work... getting this thing sold.

Actually, the downside is that I now have to begin believing that my scribbles are semi-descent. lol

Anyhow... thanks again to all. I will keep you updated as to the progression of this, and will expect to see some everyone else on this site doing the same thing... if that is of interest, of course.

Munda- Thanks for the support.

C9- I was a bit leery about the whole chicken thing, however I humbly bow my head to your courage and intelligence. I hope you enjoyed the sacrifice as much as I enjoyed the results.

Susan- I would have chosen Barking at the moon as my favorite way, and would have completely joined you, had the cops and neighbors not been hanging around when I went to try it!!!

Karilea- I LOVE the tag-line.. except I still feel that He wrote them... I am just getting the recognition. Congrats again on your book.

Larry- Fame? Wealth? For poets???? It is quite obvious that you have more faith than I. lol

Seriously, I admire you and Karilea and anyone else who has
the faith to believe in themselves this much....
It does take that, too, you know.

And, I also believe God took your talent and worked
with it, whenever you gave Him the chance to.

Ethyl- I did it as a joke, to be completely honest about the entire thing. I did not then, nor do I now feel that I stand up to those whom I worship from the past, and the ones I admire from Passions. I guess this time, the joke's on me. Thanks for the support.
