A few hours ago, Rodney Dangerfield died, age 82. He recently underwent heart valve replacement surgery and was in observation. I, for one, will miss his self-deprecating humor.

Rodney was one of the "good guys." He surely will be missed.

What an incredibly funny man he was. He made us laugh looking at the side of ourselves that was treated like the underdog that "got no respect! Today, he has my gratitude, and also Jacob Cohen, you sure have my respect. Shalom.

Damn. I've been watching this for a few weeks and hoped he'd pull through. Like 'Deer I l#ved Caddyshack, an absolute classic and great cast. But Back to School is still my favourite, simply because its ALL Rodney lol Completely carries the movie and the lines are non-stop. Was laughing my butt off today thinking of the excercise bike scene in Easy Money, gets me everytime, miss ya already Rodney

I guess Dr. Vinny Boomba did all he could for Rodney. Rodney was a favourite of mine and I will miss him too.
