Listening to every heart

Passions in Poetry led me far,
but the real world called me too,
so I went in search of other poets
and to see the real world's view...

My searching took me on a road
to meeting an Irish lassie,
a poet friend, who took me in,
with her wit and sassie...

Today now breaks on her birthday,
and wishes, I would send her,
for hugs she got in real from me,
but I hope you all will wish her,

A Happy Birthday, Shenachie,
for 'tis a storyteller you are...
and may your birthday candles shine as bright
as the heavens that hold your stars...
