Dear Poet family

My nephew, Jeff passed on this morning. He had colon cancer and had battled it for four years. He leaves a wife and a two year old daughter, Katie, and a new baby son. He was my brothers first child and only 38.

Please keep them in your thoughts still as they go through this difficult time. For those of you who saw my post in open and replied in words or in your heart, thank you.

Oh the heartache of your dear family. I am so saddened by this news. How tragic for all of you and especially his wife and children. Such sorrow should not be. I will pray for you and your family. Strength and peace to all of you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Martie~I am so very sorry to hear this news. Know that you, your family, Jeff's wife, and children are in my thoughts and prayers...this is just so incredibly sad.

Martie ~~ this is another heartbreaking story of someone young being taken by colon cancer. Our best friend's son died a couple of years ago of this. 33 years old and three young daughters all under 7.

It is an awful disease and it seems to be everywhere. I am so sorry for your family. Everyone must be devastated. Please know I will keep you all in my prayers.

Oh Martie, I have been offline and arrive late, but with heartfelt sympathy for your entire family, and I shall certainy pray for your Brother, his Daugther-in-law, and the children as they travel this journey. I am so sorry for this awful loss.
