Hoping our PiP family members from California will check in with us~ My sister Lori, and her husband Larry, live in Irvine and the fires are less than three miles from them ... my niece and nephew live in Tustin and are even closer to the fires~ They all stand ready to evacuate~ Keep everyone in prayer vigil, please~ *Huglets*  ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

The place I work has an operation in Irvine and it is close. But the VP of Operations has a home in San Diego that is at serious risk. And of course people at work have family all over souther Cal. This is all so horrible. |

I'm 600 miles north, so we're safe here. Wishing the best for any down there. One of my best friends grew up down there - he called tonight and told me the house he grew up in is gone now.  |

Martie says the air quality is terrible in her area, but they are safe at this time. I understand one of the helicopters that went over the area recently found an arsonist at work...  |

I'm safe...thanks Marge. My son and his family however, live in Mission Viejo in Orange County. His house is only a couple of miles from fire but he says he's safe. Do you think that keeps me from worrying? Not! |

Waiting to hear back from my sister ... *sigh* She and her husband do own a business complex in Newport Beach that hopefully they will evacuate to if necessary~ My former brother-in-love lives in San Diego, he and his wife were mandatorily evacutated yesterday~ Martie/Sis ... I hope they are safe~ And, Ed ? I'm smokey-chokey but good. I've got a big park a block or two north of my house, and that's the direction the Santa Ana wind blows from here. So, I've got a mile of irrigation straight upwind. Marge, whether it be hurricanes and tornadoes in Florida or wildfires and earthquakes in California, you and your beloved family and friends have been affected by them in some manner or another! ~ but thank GOD and your protective angels (and theirs!  ), you have always survived them or barely skirted disaster!My protective and healing prayers will continue. I thought my computer problems were corrected, but my replies aren't registering. It says there's no one registered by the name of sandgrain. I'm praying for all those threatened in CA, including family members. Thank God the winds are dying down now. I have a nephew who's a firefighter out there. Rae |
