and Jan...I'm willing to give you the key to whole city...all you have to do is find your way here..

and kari? tsk...Thou shalt not try to outsmart the gods! The wish never over-rides the stipulation. One wish...and choose ye wisely!

love you all.

Alas, Kari, even I do err.

The law is the law...and it be so, for, as evidenced by myself, flesh is fallible.

Sometimes the answer to prayer? Is NO. (a holy amendment!)

well... actualy, taken in context, the "wishES" should be interpreted as being one per person. Using the operator "is" in "what is yours?" is indicative of allowing the singular [wish] to multiple persons.

so good try moms, but no such luck.

as to my wish... i have decided that i want, starting tomorrow, to have an uncomplicated tenure as dominator of the world, where i can rule during the span of my immortal life in the manner that suits me best.

got it? good.

Great goddess Karen - I wish that I could have some musk sticks from Australia and some Honey Coated Cheerio thingee (breakfast cereal) from America.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

C - I'm sorry but you have stated SPAN and IMMORTAL in the same sentence. I'm afraid you have made your wish null and void (the great goddess Karen was just humouring you) given that you have employed an inherent, unsolvable contradiction. So good try sonny, but no such luck. Heh.

Wishes are fun...and I should know, being the queen of cheap thrills. (But actually, I've done the math, and they ain't that cheap...sigh)

But there is a point to all of this...and that is? (Well? THEY ARE WAITING.)

I guess, my point is, until we really know ourselves, we can't begin differentiate between basic instinct and higher calling. (Ron? You don't really want a 50 hour day, d'ya? Be careful with that wish...every day may SEEM like 50 hours...or is that the problem already? )

So, be careful what you wish for! Forgive the audacity of a witch to quote the teaching of the learned master, Jesus Christ. (surprise?) "As you think, ye sin."

I take this to mean that thoughts are the beginning of reality.

Now...I'll close before somebody drags me into the Philosophy forum (love ya Brad, but that stuff gives me migraines and blocks my flow of poetry... )

And? BLESSED BE.

Of course not, Karen.

But I know how you women operate, and I figured if I asked for 50 I might get at least half that. Twenty-five hours would be about right.

I guess that means our negotiations for night are cancelled, too?
