According to a movie I just watched, the Greeks said only one thing in a mans obituary. "Did he have passion?"
For some reason, that really made me think. Even if it's not true, what a great line.

I'm half Greek, LOL
I better get busy

A passion for anything is an admirable trait... (spoken like a true Italian Scorpio! heh heh) I'd rather be passionate about something, even if others find it not to their liking, than devoid of strong feeling.

To have passion is to strive for something that makes an individual's life worthwhile.  If only to that person.  [That's my take...]  How dull to not have Passion in a life...

can you imagine...life without PiP?

Hi all, funny the first thing I thought of was this place, then I thought of zest for life, and then I thought of the traditional meaning of passion.
Well, I have one out of three

It depends on the definition of passion:

Casanova had passion - Joan of Arc had passion - but so too did Hitler

there is an exception to every rule?

or perhaps:

not to suggest that hitler was right by any means... but he certainly felt he was. passion can be misplaced as easily as any other thing...

Sure passion can be misplaced. But I have to agree with Jeff, when he said I would rather be passionate about something, even if its unpopular.
Course if we get political, it gets ugly. Years past Hitler, there are now the 20 year olds blowing themselves up for their belefs and passions, nad taking others with them. Now that is miplaced pasion.
But leaving out all that ugliness, lets just be passionate about something! Anything. It matters.
