Okay...these can be dedicated for whatever reason, and just because they're love songs doesn't mean they have to hold just that meaning for whoever you dedicate them too. If its possible, provide some links for your lucky recipient to find the lyrics or even a clip of the song.

I'll make my dedication to our Moonlight Romeo

Savagehttp://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/7679/lyrics.html Garden "Truly Madly Deeply"

You'll have to click the song title to get the lyrics. Enjoy!

"My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words
Of that tongue’s uttering, yet I know the sound:" "Romeo and Juliet"

Okay..so you'll have to actually copy/paste the link into your browser screen. Something to do with Geocities?

Hope that it does.

And now, for my own request and dedication to you.  This song, by Collin Raye, is perfect.  Thank you dear one.

ROTFL! Okay..for fun, I'm going to dedicate "Lets Get It On" by Marvin to Jeffey if he ever reads this! Working towards that Resident Flirt title, I am!

And..I'm sure..it can be to someone who isn't a member here, but it would be fun more fun for members to find dedications to them.

Ok, Poet deVine, Get a Room.  Well, I couldn't find that exact title, but, this might be the next best thing.

And, since Temptress is working so hard for her Resident Flirt title (what's a Resident Flirt?).  Here's Marvin Gaye's song.

And, yes, here's lyrics and more about Adam Brand.  Very interesting.

Temtpress,
Marvin Gaye? Ahhh... a woman after my own heart...come closer while I turn down the lights, light a few candles and chill the wine May I have this dance?

As long as you are going for the title of Resident Flirt, I'll join you by dedicating Prince's "If I Was Your Girlfriend..." I haven't found the link yet for the lyrics; if anyone finds them please post those beautiful words here for me. Something so sexual yet so romantic about being that close to someone...

The first song I'd like to dedicate is to my hubby a song by Shakira "Underneath Your Clothes", don't know where to get the lyrics.

To everyone here in PiP I'd like to dedicate a song by Chicago, "Color My World" because you all do. Again, I don't where to get the lyrics. Sorry....Shawna

Hey, Dee... do you think Uncle Johnny would do shirts for us this year???

Thanks for finding those lyrics for me, Romeo!

This is nothing to do with dedicating a song, but it's a hillarious lyrics site. People submit their laughable lyrics for songs - the words they thought they heard, rather than the words that are actually in the song. http://4songs.4anything.com/network-frame/0,1855,6414-54206,00.html
For example,

Song: Mrs. Robinson
Artist: Simon and Garfunkel

The real lyrics were:
Look around you all you see are
sympathethic eyes.

But I misheard them as:
Look around you all you see are
simple-headed guys.
