What is your favorite Christmas song. Not one you've liked for years necessarily..but one that you keep hearing that keeps touching you over and over again so far this season. Mine is "Mary Did You Know" *(if that is the correct title) and I'm not sure who sings it. I am many. |

WINTER WONDERLAND! LOL! Which I can't have here in Mississippi because it doesn't snow that much here. Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since |

Mine is "My Name is Christmas Carol" by Skip Ewing. For me the Christmas season does not start officially til I hear this very touching song. Dawn P.S. I also need to see Frosty the Snowman cartoon, so if anyone knows when it is being played on a major network, I'd really appreciate it. [This message has been edited by DawnG (edited 12-10-2001).] |

I think the name of it is "that christmas feeling" though I am really not sure. It is the song being sang by ray charles when chevy chase is sitting in the attic during the movie 'christmas vacation'. that and 'the christmas song' (chestnuts roasting), by almost anyone,, but the dean martin version is pretty nice, as well as nat king cole's version. There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar. |

Undoubtely "Carol of the Bells" (aka Ukrainian Bell Carol), as performed by the Boston Pops. |

Not sure of the title "And so this is Christmas?" by John Lennon And all time favorite from childhood is The Little Drummer Boy. |

"Simple Things" Umm..once again..I don't know the singer. Lets just say they play the song frequently on the Delilah show. [This message has been edited by Siofra (edited 12-11-2001).] |

Carol of the Bells and What Child Is This? Both of them are excellent music to my ears. How can you save me? |

Hey yeah. . . the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. . . that's cool. . . and it's just not Christmas without Mannheim Steamroller. . . LOL. . . but, there's one that always gets me. . . even now. . . it's Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth, a duet by Bing Crosby and David Bowie. . . simply inspired. . . and let's not forget, in the same vein, Happy Xmas (War is Over) by John & Yoko. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

The three that always get me into the Christmas spirit are: Do They Know Its Christmas by BandAid (still brings tears to my eyes and reminds of my best Christmas ever, spent in England the year this was released) Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses (just a real fun song from my punk/new wave days) And So This is Christmas by John Lennon (not sure if that’s the name of it, but it’s another tear jerker) If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
