dammit nan!!! you beat me to it... why does this always happen... i was gonna say the same thing.. geesh ok, so now i guess i'll give a serious answer (if that's possible) Why? she asks. Why? indeed. Why's a task for us to heed. Why the question? Why the doubt? Why the need to figure out? Why's the world so hard, unfair? Why's the question, why's the where. Why's the door wide open shut? Why's the word to answer what? Why's she asking why just now? Why's the why to tell us how. Why? indeed. Why the need? Why to ask 'til answers bleed. Why not let the question stand With no whens to understand. Who's this lady asking why? Why no answers? Why to try? --------------------------------- thank you for this thought provoking question. i don't know why, but it inspired me to write this little verse when i should've been somewhere else doing something else somehow. but who am i to say, anyway?  dp |

Why? Go stand out in the rays of a sunset, on the top of a mountain range, under a pure, clear sky and ask why. Or stand in the rain, in the wind, on a freezing cold day, with inadequate clothing and ask why. Guarantee you'll get two different answers.  K |

Oi Sven and Walt...can you fill me in on the 'bud' thing? It sounds to me like some American beer thing - am I even close? Oh and you can't do eithout 3's cause they make for excellent backward E's on personalised number plates (well, over here anyway) K |
