Sure wish we had that in Canada. This seems like it would be a good thing for students in the States? http://www.bookrenter.com/ |

When I was in highschool our parents paid a book levy and we were loaned the books for the year, semester, however long they were needed, and returned at the end. The only time a book had to be paid for was if it was returned in poor condition, or not returned at all. Wish I could have done this for university. I took four creative writing classes, all with a novel to read every week or two! "I'm not crazy I'm just a little unwell"~ Matchbox 20 |

Okay. This is the post I wanted.I just read that we are going to be able to rent books for the kids here in Palm Coast Fl. also. A good idea.We used to be able to buy used books at a book store in New Haven Ct. where I went to school. Yale students bought used books at certain book store and they returned and bought other books often. The high school I went to was just across from the yale Gym then. It has all been changed a long time ago. My kids went to the same school I did but in another place altogether. jo |
