I find my stock of inspiring music to be running dangerously low can anyone suggest some good artists that inspire thought.

Depends on the piece your writing. I usually listen to music that matches the mood of my poem.

I like to listen to instrumental music as I write. Mostly because it keeps me from stealing lines! lol

Although, that has yet to happen, but most of the time I enjoy listening to music that has a height of emotion. Usually the stuff with inner turmoil, yanno?

Really depends on the person.

Personally I listen to anything with a meaning too it, when writing I normally block out the words to the song and just capture the feeling.

that's hard I don't usually listen to music when I write, but I'm really new at it ya know? I guess I'll just say my favorite music? I like the Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, Bad Finger, etc.
