Sheesh, I checked June 9th, and no one all that important was born or died on that day,('cept me of course that is,) Outside of the start of the Civil War there were no major events either. However I was born on the USA's "Race Unity Day" and that made me smile . To try it, type the day you born in Google, (eg. May 2, June 12, etc.) A link will be on the list for Wikipedia.org, that one will show what was going on the day you born different years in history. Or, you can click the external links at the bottom of the page on my page below to get your month, then a calendar shows on your month, to click on your day. Here's mine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/June_9 I know, I need a life, I know! I like this Wikipedia and all its other projects - they are kinda neat actually. |

I did mine and it seems an inordinate amount of actors/actresses were born on the same day as I. HMMMM |

Katherine Hepburn wass born and Doc Holliday died on my birthday. Also, Abe Lincoln was reelected President in a landslide. |

I am such a devil you know how anyone can edit this encyclopedia? I was thinking seeing that nothing important was recorded for the year I was born under events, I would add me but figured it wouldn't last very long. Interesting though all their links, I found a new toy to keep me occupied for a while anyway. |

A few notables for mine.... October 24th... Black Thrusday in 1929 when the Stock Market Crashed... but on a brighter note, the formation of the United Nations in 1945!!! Sherry |
