I seen this too Christopher.  And?

I guess it's our right to change our names to whatever we want too, however I can't help but think that maybe this guy went a little too far.  There is only one Jesus Christ in my book, and I am sure that some take offense to this.

However, surely he should have known that carrying a name around like that would bring with it many stares, and in this case legal issues lol

And?  I know that he done this because of his beleifs, but personally I think he could have done that in a million ways that didn't require him to name himself after the Son of God

JMO as always... but this one caught my eye too the other day in our local newspaper.  I bet the Holy Rollers here in the Bible Belt of SC are having fits over this one !!

He should actually be suing on the grounds that his civil rights are being infringed upon, or even that he is the victim of discrimination...
If his original last name was Gonzales, or Chavez, or some such ,and he changed his name to hay-soos then there wouldn't have been a second look at him. HOWEVER, because he is anglo, and political correctness has again reared its ugly mug, he was denied...

BTW... since this is right up their alley, where is the ACLU? Isn't this what they live for? OR do thier liberal ways only protect the minorities and those opposing religion??? (My apologies... that is another thread)

No Ringo the ACLU's too busy defending Rush Limbaugh trying to keep his medical records from being overturned so they can protect his privacy!

ACLU is the mythical Hydra.  One part is defending Rush, which I find frankly amazing, while another head is defending NAMBLA pro bono.  Go fig.

In Spanish, by the by, j is pronounced h.  Jalapeno is not jalapeno, but halapenyo.

If you don't think He does, just look in the mirror.  Sometimes, even that gives me bellylaughs! *cackles and falls over*

Funny, when I look in the mirror it just makes me realize she has good taste.

I'm wondering how he got the name changed on his Social Security card, passport and driver's license without having his name legally changed first?

LMAO . . . hmm . . . come to think of it, Pontius is quite a fine name for a child, too. (I am already going to Hell, so shush)

And don't think I didn't see that up there about the Bills . . .
